LJS final show: Part 1.

Welcome all! Needless to say I am a very happy bunny today! Today you are looking a now passed student of London Jewellery school (http://www.londonjewelleryschool.co.uk)! I can now make creative jewellery. I thought I'd show you the pieces and collections shown last night including my own.
Here is my beautiful collection. I called it "The beauty of Bohemia". It was created by looking at the bohemian culture who are heavily influenced by feathers. Here are a few close ups!
I loved my silver piece and so did everyone else! Thank you to everyone who loved my pieces, it really made me proud of myself.
These beautiful pieces are made by the lovely George (@Ogie12 on Instagram). His pieces are amazing and I couldn't stop congratulating him! Well done George!
These are the lovely Kyoko's pieces. These beauties are made from Perspex plastic. It's such a clever collection and she should be so proud.
This silver piece was made with clay believe it or not! The lovely Elaine Stevenson (contact her on elaine.stevenson1@gmail.com). This beautiful design caught my eye as soon as I saw it. I love it and would love one for myself.

These were the beautiful creations and I hope you all loved looking at them. There will be another post as soon as I get the photos.

Little card update!

Hey all!
Seen as I have my final show tonight, I thought I'd do a small post on the recent cards I have made.
This card was made with a kit from the recent papercraft inspirations magazine. I loved the cute theme of the gingerbread kit that I made all 5 designs!
I love this card! Inspired by the wonderful Nichol Magourik (http://nicholmagouirk.typepad.com), I decided to try out her wonderful method of glitter backgrounds! So easy to do, check out her blog!
This is the latest card made for a work mate. It's her sons 30th birthday and he LOVES fish. I decided to make this design for her. I love the simplicity of the design and It works so well!

Thank you for checking out my cards today!

Finishing London Jewellery school

Seen as I've managed to sort the blog out (actually looks crafty now!). I think I should tell you all about London jewellery school.
I started London Jewellery School (http://www.londonjewelleryschool.co.uk)in Janruary this year and really didn't expect to do as well as I have! I went with a view of building my skills, however I have found I like different mediums in jewellery making now. I've found that I like polymer clay and silver smithing. I would definalty say go for the diploma course if you want to learn loads more skills.
Tomorrow night is my final show (with all my new pieces that no-one has seen yet) and I will show you all of corse.

Here are a few pieces I have made at London jewellery school.

Thanks for reading today.

I'm back!!

Hey all!
I'm sorry I've been away a long time but now I'm back! I've been so busy with jewellery school (I've passed!!) and learning new skills, but now I've decided to start my blogging again. I'm now finding that I make cards and scrapbook everyday so this blog will be changing to the name "Craftin Em". I will include a blog post everyday, pictures of every project I do and even d.i.y projects.

Watch out for the blog to be changing! First up is a blog post on my year at Jewellery school.

Thanks for reading all!
